I bought this to replace my previous joystick…the same model, which lasted through about 7 years of abuse before finally calling it quits. There aren’t many options out there for wireless joysticks, but even if there were I’d recommend this one. The tri-point base is very stable, it doesn’t slide on any desk I’ve had, the buttons and each axis are responsive. Battery life on the 3 AA batteries is good-I’ve switched over to rechargeables almost exclusively, and had them in the joystick for at least 2 years. They would last for several weeks at a time; obviously the more you play, the shorter their duration. Recalibrating and programing is fairly easy with the included software, but I don’t think I ever used it after my initial purchase years ago. The stick can be programed in the games I used it for, so that’s how I did it. The USB receiver can stay hidden out of sight behind your PC tower with no reception issues. I never noticed any lag between input and reaction, and I primarily used it for online gaming.

This is actually the second replacement I bought. The first one worked for about two days then stopped working at all. I had to return it and buy another, but I’ve been using this one for a few weeks and it’s back to the good old days. I still recommend it for anyone looking for a cordless joystick or any kind of joystick smaller than a Saitek setup.

This is a great controller. Maybe I’m too picky, but Sony PS2 controllers are the only ones that meet my standards. The rumble motors are very responsive- in football games, if you get hit hard, this thing gets a little hard to hold on to! The buttons, analog sticks, D-pad, and triggers are very responsive. I love this thing! The only reason I knocked off a star was that when I recieved the controller in the mail, I immediately opened it and began using it. But, after 5-6 hours of use, the R3 and L3 buttons became unresponsive, which in some ways is not a big deal; but a lot of games utilize them. You just don’t get the extras that the L3 and R3 buttons control. This may have just been a dud, so don’t let this make you think twice about purchasing this product. Enjoy!

If you are looking for some ground shaking, super bass, super volume, gaming spkrs, forget about this set. No way. Forget about it.

However, for some subtle background music, small office use, something light duty, they perform just fine. And play fairly loud with somewhat decent sound quality…

I have found these speakers to perform satisfactorily when plugged into a small Walkman type radio/mp3 player or portable CD player. Or listening to broadband internet radio while working.

The overall appearance is unique w/the ovoid styling and the assembly is good. There is a on/off switch and volume control. Tone adjustments are made at the source.

For light duty use, these speakers are well worth the money.

However do consider what the intended use will be before purchasing.

Steelseries Gaming Headset W Mic White User Review

I got these headphones because I was looking to replace my cheap pair of logitech headphones for longer sessions of multiplayer PC gaming. I use these headphones primarily to play Valve’s Left 4 Dead 2 online, and I am very happy to say that these headphones were just what I was looking for. Sure, they won’t win any audiophile awards, but the sound quality is where it counts. It picks up small movement sounds and is great for maintaining audio coordination in a chaotic event during the game.

These headphones look great (the white shell makes it look different from other headphones on the market) and is durable. I suppose it’s pretty much standard on these types of expensive headphones, but I love the fact that the wire is wrapped in a woven cord (like a shoe lace?). These headphones are also very comfortable, with or without glasses. Microphone sound quality is excellent.

Overall, I can’t think of any complaints; very nice pair of headphones.
